Über
Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care. Be the friendly, trusted face members rely on during visits, helping with translation, gathering information, taking vitals, and answering questions. Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider. Help close care gaps, review consent forms, and keep documentation accurate. Coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintain medical supplies and ensure smooth, well-prepared visits. Support outreach efforts to schedule visits and strengthen patient engagement. Drive independently or with the provider to patient visits.
You should get in touch if:
You hold an active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from an accredited program. You have at least 1 year of healthcare experience (home-based care a plus). You have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. You have basic computer proficiency; and are comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs). You are able to walk up 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs. of equipment. You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred but not required).
