Über

Lakeland Manufacturing – Regional Sales Engineer Territory: Minnesota, as well as portions of South Dakota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
Primary Responsibilities
Represent and promote Lakeland Manufacturing in a professional manner.
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management.
Building and maintaining customer relationships.
Managing an existing portfolio of business.
Identifying and developing new growth opportunities.
Traveling within designated territory with in-person contact with existing and potential customers.
Proactively identify new growth opportunities within industry end markets.
Negotiate contracts and close business opportunities.
Forecast and track key account metrics, including sales results and monthly forecasts.
Monitor and maintain customers inventory and consignments.
Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client’s needs, especially having close working relationships and communication with inside sales.
Stay current on market and competitive conditions.
Requirements
Familiarity with machining is preferred.
Prior general business background with either inside or outside sales experience preferred.
Proven sales record and maintained customer relationships.
Able to travel within territory and conduct on-site visits with existing and potential customers.
Consultative sales approach.
Must have ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
