From Grafschaft, our team implements timber construction projects of all types and sizes – also as a general contractor. Our team of around 20 people is responsible for sales, development, planning, and project management throughout Germany.

  • Responsibility for the cost estimation of our turnkey building and modular construction projects as well as our in-house timber construction services
  • Review and evaluation of tender documents as well as participation in project development and alternative proposals
  • Preparation of tender documents and obtaining as well as evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Preparation of cost calculations for timber construction projects and maintenance and further development of the estimating system
  • Participation in tender awards and contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors
  • Close collaboration with sales, project management and site management as well as support of project teams through to project completion

  • Completed technical or trade qualification in building construction, ideally complemented by further training as a master craftsman, technician, engineer or architect
  • Strong knowledge in cost estimation for turnkey building and timber construction projects
  • Independent, structured and precise working style combined with quick comprehension and strong analytical skills
  • Good IT skills in the use of tendering and procurement tools, estimating software and Microsoft Office
  • Team-oriented mindset, strong communication and negotiation skills when working with project stakeholders as well as enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
  • Initial professional experience in cost estimation of turnkey construction projects and excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
