Job Summary QA Inspector Level II audits processes to ensure all systems and procedures are followed; inspects products to ensure requirements are met and parts meet specifications. Essential Job Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Other duties/functions may be added or assigned. Inspect finished or in-process products against standards using simple measuring tools and equipment for acceptance or rejection. Assure compliance with line clearance, raw materials, in-process inspection, manufacturing, and housekeeping. Assist in training and guidance of less experienced inspectors and production personnel on QC methods and procedures. Use basic math skills, decimals, fractions, simple formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, and computer input devices (scales, micrometers, calipers, gradient cylinder, force gauges, mag mic). Audit reports, forms, records, and comparable data to ensure compliance with procedures and requirements. Use judgment to comply with instructions, routines, methods, or to respond to preset computer menu choices, making minor decisions. Maintain regular and consistent attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Safety Comply with the EHS Policy and applicable regulatory and company EHS rules and requirements. Promptly report unsafe conditions, practices, or environmental concerns to supervision. Resolve potential hazards swiftly to maintain a safe work environment. Attend scheduled EHS trainings. Assist the organization in achieving or surpassing EHS goals and recommend enhancements. Demonstrate safe work habits by adhering to general safety procedures, including correct techniques for lifting and bending, proper ergonomics, using equipment correctly, and wearing PPE as required. Enforce discipline related to Lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) procedures. Product Safety and Quality Follow and ensure adherence to Product Safety and Quality standards. Follow GMPs regarding food contact packaging. Adhere to IPC product defense standards and comply with all SQF requirements. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection or 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment at Inline Plastics. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; communicate one-on-one and in groups. Ability to interact with various groups of people. Ability to understand detailed written and oral instructions, investigate and troubleshoot problems, and understand SOPs. Ability to apply commonsense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and handle problems involving several variables in standardized situations. Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; simple use of formulas, charts, drawings, specifications, etc. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access). Experience in data acquisition is a plus. Must be able to read micrometers and calipers, digital force gauge. Bilingual skills are a plus. Essential Physical Demands Standing, sitting, bending, lifting, twisting; work in various weather conditions. Vision required: close, distance, peripheral, color, depth.
