Über

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts) Responsibilities include: Work with a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, software engineers and QA engineers. Perform data collection, preprocessing with tools like Apache Tika. Build pipelines to integrate with other microservices to create workflows for solving business problems. Engage with lines of business, users and analysts to explore and prototype opportunities and use‑cases exploiting data and cognitive and machine learning technologies. Design, develop, test and support cognitive microservices to operationalize and productize deployment of resulting models and solutions. Manage a team of IT engineers performing AI and cloud‑based development for use cases. Supervise IT staff, assign tasks, set priorities, conduct 1‑1s with direct reports, perform access reviews, recertifications and initiate performance management functions. Collaborate to foster skill development within the team. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field plus 5 years of work experience as a Software Engineer. OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field plus 3 years of work experience as a Software Engineer. Must Have: Demonstrated excellent programming skills and experience with Java. Strong database analysis and RDBMS programming experience. Hands‑on experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies and Cloud‑DevOps. Strong organizational, multitasking, analytical and time‑management skills. Strong skills in application design & architecture, including complex integration and API development. Salary Range: $178,131 - $180,000 annual An Equal Opportunity Employer.
