September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027 Time Commitment:
16‑24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules. Format:
Interns will work from Universal City, CA. Areas of Placement
Decision Sciences, Peacock Strategic Analytics:
The charter is to uncover insights that drive decision‑making for cross‑functional initiatives and strategic priorities for the business. Interns play a key role in supporting high‑profile projects that make a tangible impact, utilizing large‑scale data sets to solve real‑life business problems and drive data‑driven strategies across Peacock. Decision Sciences, Content Science:
Hands‑on experience within a real‑world data science environment, leveraging cutting‑edge tools and technologies. Interns contribute to projects with defined responsibilities, goals, and timelines, supporting decision‑making across the business by researching new methodologies, building predictive and inferential statistical or machine learning models, developing data pipelines and internal tools, and creating interactive visualizations. O&T, West Coast Studio Operations – Global Inventory Planning:
Supports back‑of‑house operations across all locations. Intern focuses on the Systems team: builds, supports, and processes enhancements, such as building visualizations within PowerBI to track performance metrics. O&T, FTVS Studio Services – Metadata Gov:
Oversees the curation and maintenance of metadata for film and television products. Intern reviews, validates, and enhances metadata to establish a clean, reliable foundation for the TalentHub platform’s successful launch. O&T, Corp Tech – Data & Analytics:
Manages financial and HR applications, providing a comprehensive view of operations. Intern builds proof‑of‑concepts, develops AI‑driven solutions for planning and analytics, and creates data pipelines to support human‑capital management. Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program during the entire duration (September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027). December 2026 graduates are not eligible. Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits). Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; no work‑visa sponsorship required now or in the future. Available to work 16‑24 hours per week during the program period. Willing to work in Universal City, CA.
Desired Characteristics:
Class standing of junior or above preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Experience with SQL or similar programming languages (R, Python, etc.) and proficiency with Excel. Experience with BI visualization tools, a plus (Tableau, Domo, Looker, etc.). Familiarity with relational databases and SQL. Prior experience with Machine Learning and/or statistical modeling. Working knowledge of statistics and its applications for inferential data analysis. Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, and/or AWS. Familiarity with PowerBI, including building dashboards, creating DAX measures, and designing intuitive visual layouts. Understanding of data sources and basic data modeling to support accurate and insightful reporting. Good understanding of financial data. Understanding of SAP is a plus.
Compensation
Strategic Analytics and Content Science: $30.00 per hour for undergraduate interns; $35.00 for graduate interns. SO Studio Services – Global Inventory Planning: $25.00 per hour for student interns. FTVS Studio Dist – Metadata Gov: $35.00 per hour for student interns. Corp Tech – Data & Analytics: $40.00 per hour for student interns. EEO Statement
