State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Skilled Nursing Full Time | Day and Evening Shifts Part Time | Day, Evening and Night Shifts Pay: $17.50/hour Per Diem - Working as Needed Requirements: 1 shift per month Pay: $17/hour At Genacross Lutheran Services, we've been serving individuals, families, and communities with compassionate care for more than 160 years. What You'll Do: As a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA), you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents and supporting their daily comfort, safety, and dignity.
Providing direct personal care such as bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, dressing, and assistance with mobility
Safely assisting residents with transfers, lifts, repositioning, and getting in and out of bed
Supporting residents with morning routines, bedtime care, and daily living activities
Following individualized care plans and honoring resident preferences, choices, and dignity
Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all residents
Accurately completing required documentation, including charting, medical forms, and care records
Supporting smooth admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
Reporting any concerns, including changes in condition, incidents, injuries, equipment issues, or suspected abuse/neglect to leadership promptly
Following all state regulations, facility policies, infection control standards, and disaster/emergency procedures
Collaborating with nurses and care team members and following direction from the charge nurse Qualifications for a STNA:
Current State of Ohio STNA certification. Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior experience in long-term care setting preferred. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
