Über
Essential Functions
Perform database normalization/optimization, data modeling, administration, design, and SQL programming for the on-premises SIPR and Azure Cloud SharePoint environment.
Manage SQL Server 2016 or higher databases and Azure SQL (Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instances), performing system and application troubleshooting, planning, testing, and executing backup and recovery strategies.
Maintain and optimize the SIPR SharePoint production and COOP environments.
Handle vulnerability remediation for servers in line with cybersecurity requirements and reporting.
Schedule and monitor full and incremental data backups of SIPR SharePoint and SQL servers.
Restore lost or deleted data from backups upon request.
Administer the centralized SQL database environment.
Maintain a connection to the COOP environment to provide failover capability.
Test and migrate sites and data from the SIPR SharePoint portal to future SharePoint versions or cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
High School or equivalent diploma
Seven years of Information Technology experience
Five years of experience in Database Administration
CompTIA Security+ CE
MTA: Database Fundamentals Certification, equivalent, or higher
Desired Qualifications
MCSA: SQL Server 2016 or Higher Certification
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
Clearance Qualifications
Must have a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance
