Trident Consulting is seeking a Web Content Editor for one of our clients in Remote (California). A global leader in business and technology services. Job Title: Web Content Editor Location: Remote (California) Type of Hire: Contract Duration: 3+ Months (Possible extension) Pay rate: $40/hr to $45/hr on W2 (All inclusive) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Content Editor to support the day-to-day editorial execution of web content across digital properties. This role focuses on maintaining content quality, brand consistency, SEO optimization, accessibility compliance, and editorial governance within an AI-enabled content production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong web editing experience, exceptional copyediting skills, familiarity with AI content tools, and the ability to manage multiple content requests in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and maintain web content across digital platforms. Review and refine AI-generated content for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment. Ensure editorial quality for both human-created and AI-generated content. Apply editorial standards, style guides, voice, tone, and messaging guidelines. Manage content requests and prioritize work with cross-functional teams. Utilize AI tools such as generative AI platforms for content creation and editing. Collaborate with marketing, engineering, design, and web production teams. Implement SEO best practices, including metadata, keyword optimization, and page structure. Conduct content audits and maintain content accuracy. Support content templates, AI workflows, and web design systems. Escalate complex editorial issues when appropriate. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Web Content Editing, Digital Content Management, or Editorial Operations. Strong copyediting and proofreading skills. Excellent attention to detail. Experience maintaining brand voice and editorial consistency. Working knowledge of SEO and web content optimization. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with content governance and editorial style guides. Hands-on experience with AI tools such as generative AI platforms. Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Google Docs. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting AI-driven content workflows. Background in B2B technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Familiarity with Workfront, Asana, or Jira. Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
