We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the business by communicating with, tracking, training, and coaching all Team Members on achieving and exceeding service, quality, and revenue goals. The Leader will take ownership of the team's operational results, either in the front-of-house or back-of-house, while cultivating a culture of excellence. The Assistant General Manager reports to our leadership team.
Outstanding applicants will be hard-working, fast-moving, responsible, and quick thinking. As the face of Chick-fil-A West Schaumburg, qualified candidates will help achieve our vision to create a caring environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
The ideal candidate must:
- Honor and encourage others to follow the vision, mission and values of the restaurant
- Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
- Have the ability to be on your feet for at least six hours at a time
- Have the ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds
- Have the ability to make valuable connections to guests and team members
- Have organizational skills to manage and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to communicate effectively, delegate responsibilities and multitask
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to all Chick-fil-A West Schaumburg policies and procedures as well as applicable regulatory agencies
- Analyzing profit and loss reports and taking appropriate corrective action as required. Providing detailed analysis to the Operator
- Appropriately documenting Team Member performance and policy / procedure violations and taking appropriate corrective action as required
- Coordinating with management team to formulate standards and operational policies to continuously enhance the restaurant
- Frequently communicating with the Operator and management team
- Maintaining guest and Team Member experience, food safety, food quality, and restaurant cleanliness
- Maintaining effective communication and positive relations with all Team Members by ensuring all duties are performed in a timely and professional manner
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant's performance to ensure restaurant goals are achieved
- Performing table touch-ins each shift to build relationships, ensure restaurant cleanliness, and taking appropriate corrective actions as required
- Ensuring equipment operability and restaurant efficiency
- Assisting with team member training programs ensuring development, growth, and training
- Walking the restaurant each shift to ensure all areas of service, cleanliness, and food safety are being met and taking appropriate corrective actions as required
- Working operational shifts in the restaurant
