We are seeking a highly technical and customer-facing Embedded Security Systems Project Manager / Program Manager to support a large enterprise customer onsite in San Jose. This individual will act as the primary liaison between the customer, subcontractors, and internal teams while overseeing electronic security deployments, service operations, and ongoing project coordination. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise security integrations and understands both the technical and operational sides of physical security systems. This role will initially focus heavily on installation and deployment activities before transitioning into ongoing service and support coordination. Job Description Responsibilities Manage enterprise electronic security projects onsite for a dedicated customer Coordinate and oversee subcontractors responsible for low-voltage cabling and device installation Conduct site walks and assist with camera/device placement recommendations Ensure installations align with customer expectations, project scope, and best practices Serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact onsite Coordinate project schedules, site readiness, and installation timelines Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and system turnover activities Work cross-functionally with internal technical teams, field engineers, and customer stakeholders Assist in transitioning projects from deployment into long-term service and support Identify and resolve field issues proactively to maintain project momentum and customer satisfaction Qualifications Required Experience 5+ years of experience in electronic security integration, low-voltage systems, or physical security project management Strong understanding of: IP camera systems Access control systems Relays, inputs/outputs, and low-voltage infrastructure Enterprise security deployments
Experience managing subcontractors and field installation teams Ability to read plans, coordinate field activity, and manage multiple moving parts simultaneously Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced enterprise environment Experience with the following platforms is highly preferred: Axis Communications Milestone Systems 2N LenelS2 Additional experience with: Service operations Security system troubleshooting Ideal Background This role is ideal for: A former field engineer or lead technician who moved into project management A technical security PM who still enjoys being hands-on in the field Someone who can bridge the gap between technical teams, subcontractors, and enterprise customer Additional Information Benefits package Long-term growth opportunity with a stable enterprise customer environment High-visibility role with strong ownership and autonomy Job Location #J-18808-Ljbffr
