About Simpson Strong‑Tie is a leader in engineered structural connectors, software, and solutions for the building industry.
About the Role You will oversee the consultation, implementation, training and support of Simpson Strong‑Tie’s component solutions software. You will work alongside branch sales representatives to identify opportunities and provide software solutions for current and prospective customers, coordinating the efforts of the Component Manufacturing sales team to align with branch and company objectives. You will develop, coordinate, and communicate sales strategies and programs, and provide market and field intelligence to management and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage the customer software implementation process: develop and manage the schedule, define success measures, advise on best practices, install and configure the system, document, and facilitate end‑user training.
Coordinate projects with Design Services and Component Review Services teams, managing schedules, design, and review activities.
Act as liaison between customers and the software product and development teams, translating requirements and issues, and assisting with testing and deployment of new features.
Provide post‑implementation support and training, assisting the help desk with customer support needs.
Collaborate with the sales team to assess client needs and demonstrate the technical capabilities of the software.
Desired Skills And Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5 years of design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate‑connected wood trusses and/or EWP.
Understanding of wood‑framed construction practices, details, building codes, and design standards.
Strong analytical, creative, decision‑making, mathematical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
Adaptability, customer focus, relationship building, organization, and prioritization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL databases, and basic computer networking and troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements And Work Environment Employee must frequently stand, walk, sit, see, talk, and hear. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in professional office environments, customer sites, and outdoor construction job sites with standard office equipment. Noise may be loud at times.
Travel Approximately 60% domestic travel.
Work Status & Location This full‑time, exempt position can be located in the Northeast or Southeast regions near a major metropolitan area. Remote work is eligible.
Relocation Relocation not available for this position.
Pay $71,900 – $115,000 per year.

Quarterly bonuses or commissions paid on a quarterly basis.
