Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting with prospective customers in their homes, understanding their storage and organization needs, designing custom closet solutions, and closing sales. This individual will receive company-generated leads while also actively developing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, strong presenter, and consultative salesperson who enjoys working directly with homeowners and industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Consultations (Leads Will Be Provided)
Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers.
Assess client needs and recommend customized closet and organization solutions.
Create and present professional 3D design proposals and pricing options.
Follow up with prospects and guide them through the sales process.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
Business Development (Rep Lead Generation)
Generating self-sourced leads through networking and community involvement.
Develop relationships with:
Contractors/Professional organizers/Interior designers/Builders and developers/Realtors/Home renovation companies
Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
Build and maintain a referral network that drives ongoing business.
Territory Management
Manage sales pipeline and opportunities through CRM software.
Track lead activity, appointments, proposals, and sales results.
Maintain accurate records and provide regular sales updates.
Qualifications Required
Minimum
2 years of outside sales experience .
Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Comfortable conducting in-home consultations and presentations.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
