Collaborate and Mentor within UAIR Serve as a thought partner to junior analysts by contributing to shared analytical standards, documentation, and data literacy efforts. Collaborating closely with senior and principal analysts to strengthen the unit's collective analytical capability. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex analytical results and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders. Strong knowledge and understanding of how institutional context, definitions, and data limitations affect analytical interpretation. Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Oracle Analytics). Solid SQL skills and experience working with large, multi-source relational datasets. Skills in utilizing professional judgment, discretion, and care when working with sensitive or high-impact institutional data. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with technical teams and institutional stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with higher education data and reporting contexts. Experience supporting leadership decision making through analytical interpretation and storytelling. Demonstrated success in designing and delivering advanced data analyses and dashboards that support strategic decision-making, particularly within large, complex organizations. Deep understanding of business processes and data systems in higher education, including familiarity with institutional reporting, compliance requirements, and ERP systems.
