Role Summary Seeking a highly skilled QA Operations Engineer to build the infrastructure that empowers our QA team. You will not only write tests but act as a force multiplier, managing our automation libraries, integrating QA into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with business partners to ensure flawless eCommerce experiences during high‑traffic events.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain test framework architecture, scaling Playwright test libraries for complex eCommerce platforms.
Conduct performance and load testing with LoadRunner to ensure platform resilience during peak traffic events.
Perform backend and data quality testing, including API validation with Swagger/Postman and database verification with SQL.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps.
Collaborate with business partners and product managers to translate eCommerce features into comprehensive testing strategies.
Apply AI‑assisted test generation and accessibility testing for consumer‑facing sites (bonus).
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in QA Automation, Software Development, or DevOps, with a proven track record of architecting automated testing frameworks from scratch.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger) and SQL for data validation.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset across Product, Business, and DevOps teams.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles.
Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. Additional benefits: Minimum 15 vacation/PTO days for salaried employees (hourly employees: minimum 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays. Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location per local laws.
