Senior Payroll and Benefits Manager

The Senior Manager, Payroll & Benefits is a key leader responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and scalable payroll and retirement operations within a complex, multi-state manufacturing environment. This role partners across Finance, HR, and Operations to optimize processes, enhance system capabilities (UKG), and deliver data-driven insights that support business growth. This role combines hands-on system and process optimization (UKG) with strong leadership to drive standardization, reporting accuracy, and scalable practices that support organizational growth. In addition, the position owns 401(k) compliance and audit execution while supporting a geographically diverse workforce, including international employees, with consistent, high-quality service.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end payroll operations for a workforce distributed across 37+ states and multiple manufacturing sites
  • Drive process improvement and standardization, eliminating inefficiencies and reducing manual workarounds
  • Identify and resolve reporting, configuration, and mapping errors within UKG, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
  • Design scalable payroll processes to support continued organizational growth and increasing workforce complexity

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
  • 812+ years of payroll experience, including leadership in complex, multi-state environments
  • Proven experience managing payroll for 2,000+ employees
  • Hands-on UKG experience required, including system optimization and issue resolution
  • Demonstrated success in streamlining processes and fixing reporting/mapping inaccuracies
  • Strong experience with 401(k) plan administration and leading annual audits
  • Experience supporting expatriate or international employees
  • Background in manufacturing or similar environments, including hourly workforce and shift differentials
  • Prior team leadership experience required
