Summary The Safety Coordinator is responsible for assessing potentially hazardous workplace exposures by analyzing data and making recommendations to mitigate risk exposure to co-workers. Perpetuates the IIF culture. This position may be either project or region based. Roles and Responsibilities The Safety Coordinator will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co-workers assigned to this role. Analyzes Safety Data to Improve the Work Environment Recommends Safety Training Responsible for Record Retention Performs Administrative Functions Supports IIF Efforts Ensures a Safe Work Environment Participates in Training/Certifications RequirementsHigh School Diploma and 4 years of safety construction experience. Must have current OSHA 30 hour certification.
