We love working on BIG problems for a LOT of people and believe that Intro will be the most impactful yet. Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior/Staff level Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and build new features.
Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
Identify technical debt and provide recommendations for improvements.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong experience with Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend languages.
Expertise in RESTful APIs
Experience building ecommerce / payment systems
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

On your first day, we'll do a few exercises to help you identify your life goals.
