Role This is an intern position, open to college students pursuing a degree in the Information Technology Field. About the Role We’re looking for a curious, tech-forward Intern to help build and enhance personal AI agents that improve how work gets done. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience using tools like GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Agent Framework to design, test, and refine intelligent workflows and automation solutions. What You Will Do Design, build, and iterate on task-specific AI agents (e.g., inbox triage, meeting prep, status reporting, data lookup) using VS Code custom agent modes and skill files: 3–5 production-ready agent skills with documentation
Agent onboarding guide for non-technical users
End-of-summer demo to AI leadership
Develop reusable skill templates that other Uniti teams can adopt — standardized patterns for connecting agents to internal APIs (Graph API, ADO, Snowflake, Dynatrace)
Build and test prompt engineering patterns that improve agent accuracy and reduce hallucination in enterprise contexts
Contribute to the Bartels-automation shared skills repo — write documentation, test skills, and publish agent patterns for org-wide adoption
Do You Have CS, Data Science, or Software Engineering major (rising junior/senior or grad student)
Comfortable with Python and REST APIs
Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI tooling (coursework or personal projects)
Bonus: familiarity with VS Code, GitHub, or Azure
