Lead Customer Service Representative Jefferson Animal Clinic Brookville, Pa 15825 Summary: We are looking for a Lead Receptionist to join our growing team. This individual will be an integral part of the development of client relationships and will assist the Hospital Manager, Medical Director, and Lead Veterinary Technician in ensuring efficient hospital operations. Job Responsibilities:
Oversee process of patient admissions and discharges Ensure that hospital flow is efficient and effective Collaborate closely with Lead Veterinary Technician, Hospital Manager, and Medical Director to determine opportunities for operational improvements Train all new reception Team Members Maintain strong understanding of veterinary products and medications, including prescription medications, veterinary diets, over-the-counter medications, and supplements Work with the Hospital Manager to review and respond to client concerns Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments, and recording messages for doctors and staff
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
Enter data into computerize billing program
Retrieve prescriptions
Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items
Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room
Retail sales
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods Other duties as assigned Skills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Customer Service
Organizational Skills
Tech Savvy
Team oriented
