As a Radiographer, you'll play a key role in delivering precise imaging services that help doctors diagnose and treat patients effectively. With your expertise in radiologic techniques and your compassionate approach to patient care, you’ll ensure every patient feels supported and comfortable during their imaging procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform Diagnostic Radiography: Use state-of-the-art radiologic equipment to capture high-quality images of the body, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions.
- Patient Care & Comfort: Greet and prepare patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety before, during, and after exams.
- Collaboration with Medical Staff: Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate images are obtained in a timely manner, supporting the treatment plan.
- Maintain Equipment & Safety: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it’s properly calibrated and in excellent working order. Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, yourself, and the team.
- Ensure Quality & Accuracy: Review images for clarity and detail, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards. If needed, make adjustments to improve image quality and repeat scans as necessary.
- Administrative Support: Accurately document patient information, procedures, and results, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and confidentiality standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) Certificate in Texas
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T (R)
