As a Behavioral Health Assistant at Horizon, you will… Perform comprehensive clinical quality assurance audits for outpatient and residential programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Conduct utilization reviews to evaluate medical necessity, documentation quality, and fidelity to treatment plans. Prepare written audit findings, summaries, and recommendations for program leadership. Assist in monitoring compliance with OMH and OASAS regulations and agency policies. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain confidentiality. Hours: This position is full-time from Monday – Friday. Compensation: Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $52,644 - $61,418. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually. Physical demands associated with this position include: Stationary posture with frequent standing/sitting alternation. Mobility between nearby worksites and within facilities. Mobility required involving repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements. Handling light duties, moving objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
