The Manager, Partner Sales is responsible for leading and scaling the Business Development Representative (BDR) function while designing and optimizing the technology and systems that power outbound prospecting and partner acquisition.
This role focuses on building a modern outbound lead generation infrastructure that supports scalable prospecting, automation, and data-driven targeting. The Manager will oversee BDR performance, implement AI-driven prospecting tools, and develop workflows that connect lead sourcing, enrichment, qualification, and outreach execution.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales leadership with technical expertise in modern prospecting technology, automation tools, and outbound infrastructure. This individual will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to continuously improve lead quality, outreach performance, and pipeline generation. Own and optimize the outbound prospecting technology stack including sourcing platforms, enrichment tools, sequencing platforms, and CRM integrations Implement and manage AI-driven prospecting tools, automation workflows, and emerging outbound technologies Build scalable systems connecting lead sourcing, enrichment, qualification, and outbound outreach execution Continuously evaluate new sales technologies that improve prospect targeting, automation, and lead generation performance Improve lead quality through enhanced data enrichment, filtering, and scoring methodologies
Design and refine multi-channel outbound prospecting strategies including email, phone, and other emerging outreach channels Develop scalable prospecting workflows and automation processes to increase efficiency and outreach volume Optimize prospect targeting using firmographic, technographic, behavioral, and industry data signals BDR Team Leadership & Performance Management Set, track, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics including activity levels, meeting generation, and pipeline creation Provide coaching and guidance on modern prospecting techniques, technology tools, and data-driven outreach methods Conduct call reviews, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to improve BDR effectiveness and productivity Data Analytics & Pipeline Optimization Track and analyze outbound funnel performance including lead quality, outreach conversion rates, and pipeline generation metrics Develop reporting frameworks to monitor campaign performance and prospecting effectiveness Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to align outbound prospecting strategies with overall revenue goals
Strong leadership and people management skills Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze outreach performance and pipeline metrics Excellent coaching, mentoring, and performance management capabilities Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Operations 3–7+ years of experience in sales development, outbound lead generation, or growth roles ~ Experience managing BDR or sales development teams ~ Experience working with CRM systems and sales engagement platforms ~ Strong analytical skills with experience optimizing outreach workflows and targeting strategies
Experience using AI-driven prospecting tools or automation platforms for lead sourcing and outreach Familiarity with enrichment platforms, data APIs, and workflow automation tools Experience integrating multiple data sources into outbound prospecting systems Experience in B2B sales environments or partner / agent recruitment models Increased volume and quality of qualified outbound leads Improved outbound conversion rates to meetings and pipeline opportunities
