Overview
Full‑time Retail Sales Associate position with NRG, offering immediate hire, a first‑sale bonus, and paid training.
Key Responsibilities
Sell NRG electricity and gas products and services in a retail, kiosk, and/or event environment. Maintain professional interactions with both customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals. Court customers with a welcoming approach and offer assistance. Escort customers to displays, assess their needs, and suggest appropriate products. Provide detailed information on products and services to advise customers. Designated retail location only; no door‑to‑door, cold calling, or telemarketing activities.
Performance Measurements
Regular and prompt attendance. Meeting established monthly/weekly sales quota or goals. Customer satisfaction measured by rejection percentage and substantiated complaints.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
