Promet Source is a Chicago-based web and mobile application development company seeking a remote part-time employee Project Manager to work up to 5-20 hours per week with an hourly rate of $60-$70 to join our established team of Drupal professionals. This is a part-time position and does not include employee benefits.
About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role reports to the Director of Client Services. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and experience leading technical teams.
Projects may include new development initiatives as well as ongoing support and maintenance engagements, requiring comfort switching between build-focused and support-oriented workflows.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Project Planning
Responsible for project execution coming to completion at or under budgetResponsible for keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of projectprogress, risks, and milestones weekly or more frequently as neededAssigns and recommends resources for assigned projectsForecasts resource allocation on a quarterly basisIdentifies and documents project requirements at the start of each projectMaintains the first point of contact for customer stakeholdersReviews development work, ticket progress, keeps project tracking software up to dateResponsible to keep the project team focused and unblocked from obstacles when possible; this may include getting answers to questions in a timely manner, documenting needs, updating tickets, and moreAssist with maintenance and creation of internal process and other "wiki" documentationBuild strong relationships with clients
Project Budgeting
Create and Approve monthly project invoicesDevelops project budgets, monitors and tracks budgets against pre sales estimates for individual projectsForecasts project budget and timeline changes well in advance and informs stakeholders of any changes
Project Account Growth
Identify upsells: identify valuable additional work to perform for client accountSales support: assist with project management related questions and demonstrationsBuild strong relationships with clientsAbout Promet Source

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of project management experienceExperience working with a CMS in an agency settingBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration or a related fieldStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly motivated, independent self-starterExperience developing project budgets, tracking expenses, coaching teams, and improving processesSolid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practicesProven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change managementWorking knowledge of web accessibility standards and how to apply them in practiceExperience working part-time and remoteExperience or certification in web accessibility is a strong plusMust be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
