What you'll do...
At Enchanted Rock, our people are our greatest asset and we put a strong focus on providing the attention and development necessary to drive employee success. The Sr. Construction Superintendent is responsible to manage more complex medium voltage sites production of on site activities, provide daily progress reports, and quality reports, update the Construction Coordinator to any deviation from drawings and work to resolve any site issues, responsible for all Safety and Quality aspects of the site construction.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an innovative, collaborative, and progressive leader with exceptional business acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions in a highly complex, rapidly evolving environment. You are someone who builds trust and credibility and inspires ERockers across the business. You are action-oriented, resourceful, and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead significant change.
Key Responsibilities:
Having the ability to collaborate with operations, project, engineers, subcontractors, and etc. to provide a safe and quality deliverable with in project timelines.Having the ability to review and understand provided drawings and ensure site is built to drawing / code / project requirementsHaving the ability to complete daily construction reports, Safety JSA's, quality reports with will documented informationHaving the ability to advise supervisor / engineering team of any deviations from drawings or issues on site to ensure plan forward prior to action being taken.Having strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and follow through on assigned tasks.Being an effective communicator (written and verbal) with proficiency in relevant software tools.Being capable of resolving on-site issues, maintaining a clean job site, and supporting operations teams.Being skilled in reviewing and providing schedule updates as needed.Demonstrating Document Control skillsDemonstrating time management skillsBeing proficient in prioritizing and understanding project sequences to ensure proper project executionParticipating in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal networkHaving the ability to lead meetings with outside vendors, contractors, utilities, and clients.Having the ability to find solutions and overcoming problems that may impact the project
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Related Experience in Construction Management10 + years experience in a relevant role10+ years technical field experience; specifically with medium voltage construction projects & technologyExcellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budgetThe ability to understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment90% Field travel required
Preferred:
Demonstrate thought-leadership in learning, challenging the status quo and achieving exceptional resultsPossess excellent communication skills and an ability to influence a variety of audiencesBuild constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partnersHave experience working within agile methodologiesHave a Journeyman or Masters Electrical License
