Overview CRO Specialist (Conversion Rate Optimization) – Remote Contractor We’re building a lean, global marketing team to efficiently grow qualified traffic and convert that traffic into free trial signups and paying customers. As our CRO Specialist, your work will directly impact revenue. Role Overview We’re looking for a data-driven, results-oriented CRO Specialist to own the strategy, testing, and execution of all landing page optimization across both product sites. You’ll lead efforts to increase free trial conversion rates from SEO and PPC campaigns through experimentation, UX testing, and ongoing iteration. Your #1 KPI: Increasing the percentage of qualified visitors who sign up for a free trial. Responsibilities Build, test, and optimize landing pages using Unbounce, WordPress (Elementor), or similar tools Set up and manage A/B and multivariate tests Analyze visitor behavior using GA4, Hotjar, and FullStory Recommend and implement layout, messaging, and UX changes Align PPC campaigns with relevant landing pages Create weekly CRO performance reports and insights Coordinate with SEO, PPC, content, and design teams Own the full lifecycle of CRO tests — from ideation to launch to iteration Success Metrics – First 3 Months Launch 2 new landing pages/week (1 per product) Achieve 15% conversion rate for high-priority PPC campaigns Reduce cost per trial conversion from PPC by measurable margin Improve mobile conversion rate and reduce bounce/form abandonment Deliver weekly CRO reports with actionable insights You’re a Fit If You… Have a proven track record increasing trial signups or leads via CRO Are highly proficient in Unbounce or similar LP builders Are comfortable interpreting user behavior via GA4, Hotjar, or FullStory Can run fast, clean A/B tests and analyze results Enjoy working independently and being judged on results, not hours Communicate clearly and proactively in English Know what makes B2B SaaS funnels convert Tools & Stack GA4, Hotjar, FullStory, Clarity Unbounce, WordPress/Elementor Microsoft Teams Workspace Collaboration with SEO, PPC, and content teams Work Culture Remote-first, async-friendly: Work from anywhere, on your schedule Autonomy & ownership: You’ll lead CRO strategy across both products Performance-driven: Results matter more than time online How to Apply We expect many applicants — so please read carefully. Loom or screen recording (Required) Record a 2–4 min video showing a real CRO test you’ve run: What the page looked like before/after What tool you used (Unbounce, GA4, Hotjar, etc.) The results or uplift from the test (e.g., +20% conversion rate) What you learned from the experiment 2. 3–5 sentence CRO plan Briefly describe how you would improve the conversion rate of a Google Ads landing page for a load testing product like LoadView. Focus on your process. 3. Keyword check Use the word “asymmetric” somewhere in your application. This helps us filter for applicants who actually read and follow instructions. 4. (Optional) Share a link to a landing page you’ve built or optimized. This role is for practitioners, not theorists. If you can show results and think like a funnel optimizer, we want to work with you.
