RN - Endoscopy Must have experience with administering and monitoring conscious sedation. Years of experience required: 1. First-timers accepted: yes. Weekend requirement: No, M-F only. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CA License. Is on-call required? Yes. Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes. Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager discretion. Locals accepted: Yes. Pending license accepted: No. RTO restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission. Guaranteed hours: Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period. Type of facility: Acute care hospital Total staffed beds: 277 Scrub color: RNs: Royal blue or navy blue. Peds RNs: Peds friendly top and royal or navy blue bottom. RRT: Hunter green. OR/Endo/L&D/PACU: provided. Phleb: Navy blue (any color is also acceptable). Imaging tech: Black. Charting: Epic Parking cost: Free parking!
Patient age groups: Adults, geriatrics Interdisciplinary support: Respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, unit secretary Patient diagnoses: If no Endo RN experience, will take pre-op post-op experienced RN. Special procedures/unit details: None specified Special equipment: None specified Holidays: Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Can only submit to 1 location within the region. Requires specific amount of experience (ex: 1 or 2 yrs required for submission). Valid CA License in hand. Local radius: 50 mile radius rule applies. Local rule: accepted at lower BR. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals nearby. Copy of certifications. Specific charting exp.: Epic. Return staff policy: 3 months to return as traveler. References required: 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include charge RNs/lead. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. If required for the assignment, client agrees to supply providers with communication devices (i.e. cell phone, pager, etc.) needed to perform the duties as assigned at no cost to provider or agency. If client does not provide a mobile phone required for the assignment, client agrees to pay agency monthly, for all work-related cell phone use by each provider, up to a maximum amount of $50.00 as invoiced by agency. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bill directly to agency. Housing: Please have your traveler look into housing options in the area, as options may be limited. Modules: Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent. Over 20 hours requires PM approval. Modules are completed pre-start, and annually. Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts.
