EthosEnergy is currently seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for our Houston, TX facility. The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading complex procurement activities, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing that aligns with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally to support operational and strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order executionDevelop and implement category strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and riskManage supplier relationships and performance, including KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiativesNegotiate complex commercial agreements, terms and conditions, and long-term supply contractsConduct market analysis, benchmark pricing, and evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO)Partner with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance, legal, and project teams) to align procurement strategies with business needsEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulationsIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks related to quality, delivery, financial stability, and geopolitical factorsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives with measurable financial impactMentor and provide guidance to junior procurement staff as needed
Required Skills / Knowledge

Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain managementDemonstrated success negotiating contracts and managing strategic supplierProven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvementKnowledge of working with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor & Nav)Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExperience in manufacturing, energy, industrial services, or capital projects environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, PMP)
