Über

A career as a Senior Full Stack Developer in the Capital Markets Technology team at National Bank means serving as an end-to-end application development specialist. This position allows you to have a concrete and lasting impact on critical systems, thanks to your expertise in backend and frontend development, software architecture and modern DevOps practices, in a context where quality, security and innovation are top priorities.

Your job

  • Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable application solutions, both on the backend and frontend sides, taking into account performance, security and maintainability
  • Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to the evolution of technological platforms in order to support business needs and the sustainability of systems
  • Develop end-to-end solutions, including user interfaces and application programming interfaces, while ensuring technical and functional consistency
  • Implement and improve ongoing integration and deployment pipelines to automate testing, validation and delivery
  • Leverage the capabilities of artificial intelligence applied to software development to increase productivity, improve code quality and accelerate delivery
  • Work closely with business partners, analysts, quality Assurance and Operations to propose it solutions aligned with real needs

Your team

The Vice-President - Capital Markets Technology is a number of specialists who work agile, proactively and collaboratively to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology and continuously improve processes.

You are part of a team of approximately 15 colleagues in the Information Technology - Capital Markets Transaction Settlement sector and report to an asset manager assigned to the squad. Our team stands out for its strong technical expertise in backend and frontend development, its close collaboration with business and technology partners, and its commitment to innovation and operational excellence. Prerequisites

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field, or an equivalent recognized diploma, and 5 years of experience in software development
  • Solid backend development experience with Java, Python and SQL
  • Concrete experience in frontend development with react and TypeScript, including modern user interface architecture practices
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and ongoing integration and deployment tools
  • Experience or keen interest in using artificial intelligence applied to software development
  • Understand best practices related to application security, performance and scalability
