Job DescriptionAs a Armed Security Officer - Protection in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support authorized entry and exit procedures while following post orders and applicable instructions for an armed patrol assignment.
- Maintain readiness to respond to emergencies and provide visible presence throughout the location, helping to support order and appropriate response to security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
