What you will be doing: Support local territory efforts to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment. Be the territory's "go-to" expert competent in the applications, technology, installation, and deployment of all ASSA ABLOY EM and EAC product/system/solution offerings. Certify integrators' sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training, including ongoing assessments and development of their skills. Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel. Facilitate deployments of product test beds at certified integrator's facilities, trial installations at select end user locations, and initial installations with live integration into EAC systems. Collaborate and develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory. Develop wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings with electrical contractors and other stakeholders, conduct site surveys and audits with integrators, and check on implemented solutions. Strategize with team to win the highest overall product content. Troubleshoot EM and EAC product-related issues and make operational, preferably in collaboration with the integrator. Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling. Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations. Education and/or experience: College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma. Minimum of 2
3 years of industry-related experience in field sales with EM/EAC/EMAC products and systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting. Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
