Job Title Software Engineering Expert (Super Star Program) Job Type Contractor (Super Star Expert Network) Location Remote / Global Job Summary Join micro1’s Super Star Program as a Software Engineering Expert and become a driving force in shaping technical excellence for our customer's team. This is a highly selective, impact-oriented position for elite engineers who thrive on solving real-world problems and guiding architectural decisions under ambiguity. As a Super Star, you will leverage your expertise to influence mission-critical outcomes, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a traditional hands-on developer. Key Responsibilities Participate in client calls, providing technical consultation and guidance on new pipeline opportunities. Collaborate with our customer’s technical staff to offer insights on advanced research projects within your domain. Design and develop sample tasks for innovative client-facing pipelines, demonstrating best-in-class engineering approaches. Advise the core team on practical AI and system applications, championing robust solutions for complex use cases. Own the debugging of high-impact, ambiguous system challenges, ensuring reliability and scalability at every turn. Make high-stakes architectural tradeoffs, balancing scalability, maintainability, and business constraints. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven mastery in debugging production systems and troubleshooting in ambiguous environments. Deep architectural experience, making informed technical tradeoffs at scale. Strong system-thinking and holistic problem-solving abilities. Exceptional judgement and prioritization skills in fast-paced settings. Outstanding communication, able to distill complex topics for diverse audiences. Demonstrated ownership of large-scale, high-value engineering initiatives. Experience advising or consulting in a technical capacity. Preferred Qualifications Experience guiding teams or organizations through complex technical transitions or product launches. Prior exposure to AI, automation, or cutting-edge software systems at enterprise scale. Contributions to industry whitepapers, technical blogs, or open-source projects.
