Primary Role
IvoryCloud is seeking a Senior Web/Internet Developer to serve as a key technical lead for the ATF BATS Modernization effort. The ideal candidate brings modern web and cloud application development experience and can translate business and product backlog needs into secure, functional, and cohesive web application solutions. This role is central to BATS because the modernized platform must consolidate legacy capabilities into a responsive application built with contemporary web technologies and cloud-aware design.
Experience
* 6+ years of web application development experience using modern web and cloud architecture and technologies used in application development
* Hands-on experience participating in discussions with business users and stakeholders to finalize requirements and product backlogs
* Experience creating application architecture layouts and reviewing them with infrastructure and product teams
* Ability to collaborate with software engineers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code that enhances the user experience
* Experience creating and maintaining web applications using AWS and languages such as .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Ability to evaluate cloud services and determine appropriateness for web application implementation
* Experience delivering software in Agile development environments and documenting code and implementation approaches using industry best practices
* Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to support a mission-focused modernization effort with multiple stakeholder groups
* Experience with AWS
* Experience supporting federal or law-enforcement mission systems is highly desired for the BATS modernization environment
