Facilitating surgical procedures by setting up and organizing the operating room Upholding sterile environments and observing strict infection control protocols Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assisting staff Preparing, managing, and maintaining surgical equipment throughout all phases of procedures Monitoring and preparing necessary supplies for every operation Coordinating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical professionals to ensure seamless surgical care Keeping accurate surgical documentation and counts Education Requirements:
Completion of a recognized Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Certifications Required:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is essential BLS certification (or the ability to obtain it within 90 days after hiring) Essential Skills and Qualities:
