Ruel Concrete Ltd. is a leading concrete and aggregate supply company in the Slave Lake area. We operate a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment and are committed to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.
*Key Responsibilities*
· Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment
· Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
· Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing
· Conduct and complete CVIP inspections in accordance with Alberta regulations
· Accurately complete work orders and CVIP reports
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Support and mentor apprentices
*Qualifications*
· Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (Red Seal preferred). Willing to accept a 3rd year appentice or a Journeyman
· Valid CVIP certification
· 2–5+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck/equipment repair
· Own hand tools
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
· Safety-focused and able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing
· H2S Alive, First Aid, and other safety tickets are assets
