As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on Frontend at Read AI, your contributions will directly shape how users interact with our platform. This role is crucial to enhancing Read's user experience through high-impact features and improvements. Using Typescript and React, you will work on our reporting application, billing system, our native note-taking apps (Zoom, Meet, and Teams), and Read's browser extensions. As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Read, you'll influence both the development of new features and the direction of our product roadmap. Responsibilities: Implement new features from product specifications and visual designs handed-off via Figma. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable and maintainable APIs Design and build responsive and accessible user interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices and browsers. Continuously improve upon and advocate for best practices in frontend development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimization. Provide critical and insightful feedback to the product team during the development processes. Take ownership of and drive specific product work-streams forward, making a significant impact on the future of Read. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering (preferred) and 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience. Proven experience in frontend development, with advanced experience in Typescript and React. Strong understanding of modern web development practices and responsive design. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand. Excellent problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and customer-focused approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Work in a supportive and collaborative environment with a diverse and talented team. Software Engineer positions offer a base pay range of $166,250 - $183,750, plus equity and benefits. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer low deductible health plans, as well as flexible time away and family leave programs. Please note our company does not provide visa support or sponsorship for employees.
