We are seeking a dedicated and community-focused professional to serve as a liaison between our Agency and the community. This role is instrumental in identifying community needs, developing programs and services, and supporting the Agency's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
*What You'll Do*
The primary function of this position is to act as a liaison between the Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs. Responsibilities include the development and promotion of programs and services while maintaining standards of practice consistent with quality healthcare and maximizing human, financial, and equipment resources.
*What We're Looking For*
* Graduate of an accredited college or university preferred.
* Experience in the healthcare field preferred.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, community members, healthcare professionals, the Board of Directors, and the Medical Director.
* Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
*What You'll Bring*
* Ability to provide guidance to the Agency regarding community needs, program development, personnel requirements, and financial considerations.
* Ability to collaboratively develop and maintain policies related to new programs.
* In-depth knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
* Ability to assist in directing programs through collaboration with administrative and supervisory personnel.
* Ability to establish and maintain community outreach and public relations initiatives that promote Agency services and foster positive relationships with physicians and community organizations.
* Ability to perform additional duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
*Working Environment*
This is an on-site position based in Laredo, Texas. The role requires regular interaction with community partners, healthcare providers, and Agency personnel and is not eligible for remote work.
*Requirements include:*
* Ability to work a flexible schedule.
* Ability to travel locally on a regular basis.
* Reliable transportation.
* Ability to work in various community, healthcare, and office settings.
* Occasional exposure to varying weather conditions.
