Position Description

Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Driver. In this pivotal role, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. You will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and providing excellent service to our clients.


Position Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive assigned vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic regulations.

• Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

• Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered.

• Always ensure the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the vehicle.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow instructions accurately.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

• Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel promptly.

• Deliver material to various job sites

• Providing an effective and incident free delivery or pickup

• Loading, unloading and moving material that includes heavy lifting of plastic and steel pipe bundles of up to and or over 50 lbs.

• Safe operation of a manual pallet jack

• The unloading and loading of materials at construction job site locations; safely and without damage

• Promote a safe work environment.

• Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.

• Other various duties as assigned.
