Job Summary Senior Field Application Engineer reporting to the North America FAE Manager responsible for providing technical support to Northeast region electronic customers, driving NBOs and design wins for key and emerging customers under the direction of the Director, North America Sales and coordination with the Regional Sales Manager. Responsibilities Work closely with customers at product concept and design level to ensure necessary information is provided to facilitate design‑in of our products. Develop close relationships with customers and sales representatives to enhance company image, competitiveness, and uncover new application opportunities. Coordinate product qualifications for customers in a timely and efficient manner through communication with Factory, Engineering, Quality, and Sales representatives. Conduct product application seminars and training for key customers, sales representatives, and distributors. Maintain and update the NBO/Top Opportunities reports monthly. Coordinate regional trips with the RSM in conjunction with specific customer or rep requirements. Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to product quality issues. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Secondary Duties Provide technical feedback to Product Marketing and Engineering teams regarding customer application needs for new product development. Provide internal Littelfuse training as required. Coordinate and schedule monthly conference calls with the Product Marketing Team and Regional management. Qualifications BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Two to five or more years of experience in applications engineering and customer interface. Knowledge of electronics test lab equipment and reliability/quality metrics related to electronics or semiconductors preferred. Technical understanding of Circuit Protection, Temperature, and Magnetic Sensors is a strong plus. Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong customer interaction via phone, e‑mail, and direct contact. Proficiency in MS Office and Windows. Physical Requirements Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including limited international travel. Company policy limits unassisted lifting to no more than 45 lbs.
