Are you ready to make a difference in the world of motor claims? Join Strata Solicitors,  Gallagher Bassett’s in-house law firm as a Recovery Claims Handler (Motor). Based in either Blisworth, Northamptonshire, or Tamworth, Staffordshire, where you’ll manage your own caseload, working to recover our clients’ motor losses quickly and effectively. You will have the chance to work with industry leading professionals and after your probation period, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

In this role, you’ll handle pre-litigation motor recovery claims from start to settlement, ensuring timely and effective outcomes. You’ll investigate liability, gather evidence, and negotiate with insurers and third parties to resolve claims. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards while maintaining accurate records. Your work will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

• 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at grade C or above (or equivalent Grade 4).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• A willingness to learn and develop your career in insurance or claims handling.

It’s a bonus if you have:

• A-levels, BTECs, or equivalent qualifications.
• A Law degree or insurance qualification.
• Experience in financial services or insurance.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
