Our client, a global hospitality firm, is undergoing a major enterprise transformation as they modernize their HR and enterprise systems landscape through a strategic migration to Oracle Cloud. As part of this initiative, they are seeking an Oracle Cloud Technical Architect to help establish and support their long-term Oracle Cloud environment, working closely with internal stakeholders and implementation partners.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to play a foundational role in a multi-year Oracle Cloud journey, helping build internal expertise while supporting critical cloud infrastructure and integration initiatives.
*Position Overview*
The Oracle Cloud Technical Architect will serve as a key technical resource responsible for supporting, maintaining, and evolving the organization's Oracle Cloud ecosystem. The successful candidate will partner closely with the client's Oracle implementation partner, gaining deep knowledge of the environment during implementation and ultimately becoming a long-term internal owner of the Oracle Cloud landscape.
This role is heavily focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and the broader cloud architecture supporting Oracle enterprise applications. While the organization is currently implementing Oracle HCM Cloud, this position is centered on the underlying cloud architecture, integrations, infrastructure, and enterprise dependencies rather than functional HCM expertise.
The ideal candidate combines strong Oracle Cloud technical knowledge with the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences, helping leadership understand risks, dependencies, opportunities, and strategic considerations throughout the transformation.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Partner closely with the Oracle implementation partner to gain deep understanding of the Oracle Cloud environment and architecture.
* Support and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments and associated cloud services.
* Design, support, and optimize integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
* Monitor and manage cloud environments, ensuring stability, performance, security, and scalability.
* Serve as the internal Oracle Cloud subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
* Evaluate cloud architecture, dependencies, and cross-functional impacts across enterprise systems.
* Identify technical gaps, risks, and operational challenges and develop recommendations for resolution.
* Support the consolidation of multiple legacy HR and enterprise platforms into a unified Oracle ecosystem.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
* Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive and functional audiences.
* Provide architectural guidance as the Oracle environment expands to include additional Oracle Cloud applications and services.
* Support long-term cloud roadmap planning and future Oracle Cloud adoption initiatives.
*Required Qualifications*
* 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies.
* Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
* Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
* Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments and cloud-based integrations.
* Knowledge of Oracle enterprise application ecosystems, including Oracle HCM, EPM, ERP, or related platforms.
* Experience designing and supporting cloud architecture, integrations, and infrastructure dependencies.
* Strong understanding of enterprise application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
* Experience identifying architectural risks, dependencies, and strategic considerations across complex environments.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Oracle Cloud certifications, particularly:
* Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
* Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
* Experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
* Exposure to Oracle EPM environments.
* Experience working with large-scale enterprise system consolidations and transformations.
* Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
*Environment & Transformation Overview*
The organization is currently implementing Oracle HCM Cloud and plans to continue expanding its Oracle Cloud footprint over the coming years. This initiative includes consolidating multiple legacy HR platforms and siloed systems into a single, integrated Oracle ecosystem.
The Oracle Cloud environment will continue to evolve significantly, creating a unique opportunity for an architect who wants to influence long-term cloud strategy, governance, and operational excellence.
*Target Start Date*
* Early July 2026 (targeting the week of July 6)
