Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will bring a reliable, caring, and team-oriented approach while acting with integrity and adapting to the needs of a dynamic environment.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and observations, and work with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
