What We Do We are a talented team of roboticists and software engineers working on the latest Symbotic automation expansion, responsible for delivering solutions for the ordering, processing and delivery of mixed SKU totes to hundreds of customers. What You’ll Do
Microservice Architecture Oversight – Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices that power our robotics solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company objectives. Global Team Leadership – Manage and mentor software development teams across multiple international locations, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Operational Reliability – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the performance of our warehouse automation systems, ensuring prompt attention to operational challenges to uphold system reliability. Support Coordination – Work closely with support teams to ensure timely resolution of software-related issues, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our systems. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product management, robotics engineering, industrial controls, and operations teams across various locations to align software initiatives with business objectives. Process Optimization – Implement best practices in software development and support processes, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Stakeholder Communication – Effectively communicate project statuses, challenges, and successes to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
What You’ll Need
Educational Background – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience – Minimum of 8 years in software development with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the robotics or warehouse automation industry. Proven experience managing distributed teams across multiple countries is highly desirable. Technical Proficiency – Extensive experience in C# development and a deep understanding of .NET technologies and microservice architectures. Microservice Architecture – Experience developing software applications using microservice oriented architecture with technologies such as .Net Core, Rabbit MQ, Open API and Kubernetes. Support Experience – Familiarity with coordinating support activities to maintain system stability and performance. Leadership Skills – Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing, geographically dispersed teams. Problem‑Solving – Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues. Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Our Environment
Travel – Up to 10% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. Expenses – The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi‑weekly basis.
Benefits The base range for this position in the posted location is $149,000.00 - $204,600.00. Compensation includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and other benefits.
