Product Manager – U.S. Brokerage Platform

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated *Product Manager* to lead the development and enhancement of uSMART's U.S. brokerage mobile application. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product strategy, defining product requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering an exceptional digital trading experience for U.S. investors.
This role requires a strong understanding of online brokerage products, securities trading workflows, and user-centric product development within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the product planning, roadmap development, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization for the uSMART U.S. brokerage mobile application.
* Conduct business and user requirements analysis, prepare detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), create wireframes and prototypes, and manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch.
* Collaborate closely with Business, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and UX/UI teams to define product requirements, coordinate implementation, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure successful product releases.
* Monitor post-launch performance, manage issue tracking, gather user feedback, and drive continuous product enhancements and feature iterations.
* Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis of U.S. online brokerage and wealth management platforms to identify market trends, customer needs, and product innovation opportunities.
* Analyze customer behavior and business feedback to improve user experience, product functionality, and customer engagement.
* Support product initiatives related to U.S. brokerage services, including account opening, funding, trading, and investment products.
* Perform other duties and special projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Design, or a related discipline.
* Minimum *3 years of experience* as a Product Manager within fintech, online brokerage, wealth management, capital markets, or financial services.
* Strong knowledge of U.S. brokerage products and workflows is highly preferred, including:
* Online account opening (KYC/CIP)
* ACH transfers
* Wire transfers
* U.S. equities trading
* U.S. listed options trading
* Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive product requirements, create wireframes and user flows, and manage end-to-end product development.
* Strong understanding of user experience (UX), interaction design, and mobile application product design.
* Experience using AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Figma AI, or similar) to improve product planning, documentation, and workflow efficiency is an advantage.
* Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
* *Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage* for collaboration with regional product and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a U.S. broker-dealer, fintech company, or online securities trading platform.
* Familiarity with U.S. financial regulations and brokerage operations.
* Experience launching or managing mobile trading applications for retail investors.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum product development methodologies.
* Experience with product analytics tools and A/B testing is a plus.
Pay: Up to $15,000.00 per month
