TeamLogic IT of Redwood City is the local office of a nation-wide company. Our core business is technology! Join our team and help small to mid-size businesses stay safe, productive and profitable through the smart use of technology. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Managed IT Services (MSP) Level 3 Engineer to join our dynamic IT team.
This role requires the ability to work onsite. The candidate should be prepared for occasional travel to client locations and possess a valid driver's license. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to accommodate client emergencies or project deadlines.

*MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Provide advanced technical support to clients, including installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software beyond networking scope.
* Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets promptly, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
* Configure and maintain enterprise switching environments (Ruckus, Cisco, or similar), including VLAN segmentation, inter-VLAN routing, static routing.
* Administer and harden enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, SonicWall, or similar), including IPSec Phase 1/Phase 2 tunnel configuration, security policy creation, NAT, and traffic selector management between sites.
* Manage controller-based wireless deployments (Ruckus SmartZone, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or similar) across multiple sites, including AP provisioning, troubleshooting AP-to-controller connectivity loss, and resolving wireless coverage or roaming issues across large campuses.
* Lead the planning and execution of network architecture changes and platform migrations.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation of client network topologies, configurations, IP schemas, and support activities, critical for multi-site environments with distributed infrastructure.
* Implement and manage security solutions, conduct regular security audits, and address potential vulnerabilities across endpoints and network infrastructure.
* Ensure client data is backed up regularly and contribute to disaster recovery planning to safeguard against data loss.
* Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, providing technical updates in terms that align with their business priorities.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to Level 1 and Level 2 Technicians, with a particular focus on developing their knowledge and troubleshooting methodology.
* Participate in on-call support for critical network and infrastructure issues as needed.
*SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS*
* Minimum of 5 years in IT support, including 2 years in a Level 3 or senior technician role. MSP experience preferred.
* A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, with certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or CCNA is a plus.
* Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Pay: $81,784.70 - $110,000.00 per year
