Job Description Bob Hewes Boats has been a fourth-generation, family-run dealership serving South Florida since 1926. With a reputation for excellent customer service and quality products, we are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Boat Sales Professional. Position Overview This is an in-store sales position focused on assisting customers through the boat buying process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is outgoing, proactive in seeking customers, and passionate about boating. The role may require working at different dealership locations and includes weekend availability. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the showroom and on-site at the dealership Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend the right boats Guide customers through the sales process, including product education, pricing, and closing Conduct boat walk-throughs and assist with on-water demonstrations when needed Follow up with leads and maintain strong customer relationships Work closely with management, finance, and service teams to ensure a seamless experience Maintain product knowledge on all boat lines and current inventory Assist with dealership events, promotions, and boat shows as needed Keep showroom and display areas clean, organized, and presentable Qualifications Previous sales experience preferred (marine industry a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Motivated, outgoing, and customer-focused Ability to work as part of a team and in a fast-paced environment Organized with strong follow-up skills Willingness to work regular dealership hours and some Saturdays Ability to rotate between store locations as needed Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Basic computer skills required Ability to navigate and post on social media channels Benefits Competitive compensation (base + commission) Medical insurance Paid vacation (after one year) Employee discounts on marine products and services Opportunity to grow within a well-established, family-run dealership Bob Hewes Boats is an equal opportunity employer and a drug‑free workplace.
