Join OnlineDoctor: We’re Expanding! We are a fast-growing telemedicine startup focused on improving access to dermatological care. Our platform uses cutting-edge technology to connect patients with dermatologists, enabling them to take pictures of their skin issues and receive diagnoses and treatment plans remotely and asynchronously.
We’re looking for a Systems Administrator to take full ownership of our internal tooling landscape and IT operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving and professionalizing reliable, secure, and well-governed systems.
You will be the owner of our internal tool ecosystem—responsible for access control, security, integrations, cost management, and operational continuity across all platforms. You will establish clear governance and standards, improve how we provision and protect our tools, and ensure every employee has seamless, secure access to what they need.
Responsibilities
Microsoft365 & Identity: Serve as the tenant-level administrator for Microsoft365, owning configuration, security settings, and feature management; manage the full user lifecycle: provisioning, role assignment, license management, and offboarding; design and enforce access control policies, including group structures, permissions, and role-based access.
Tool Ownership: Own the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of all company tools including Slack, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and others; support teams in configuring workflows and collaboration structures that fit how they work; manage vendor relationships, renewals, and license optimization to control costs.
Automation & Operation: Build and maintain secure integrations between internal tools to improve workflow consistency and reduce manual work; automate repetitive operational processes such as onboarding/offboarding, license provisioning, and access requests; maintain clear documentation for configurations, integrations and operational procedures; provide reliable support, monitor critical tools and lead incident responses for outages, access issues and integration failures.
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience administering Microsoft365 at the tenant level (user lifecycle, groups, roles, licensing, security settings, integrations).
Strong understanding of access control principles: authentication, authorization, SSO, and identity management.
Experience administering Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) including workflow design and governance.
Demonstrated ability to establish scalable governance standards across a tooling ecosystem and improve operations independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
Knowledge of security frameworks and controls (e.g., ISO27001, SOC2).
Experience supporting quality management processes aligned to ISO13485.
Interest in AI technologies and a practical understanding of how AI tools can support IT operations, system administration, and automation.
What we offer
Flexibility: You decide if you want to work remote or visit one of our offices (Hamburg, St. Gallen, Zürich). We offer a flexible schedule and a working‑time model that suits you.
Learning culture: We offer a steep learning curve and support your personal and professional development through regular retro and inspiration sessions as well as advanced training.
Team events: Skiing in Switzerland, white water rafting in Vienna – we regularly get together with our entire team to strengthen teamwork.
Fair salary: An attractive salary is a matter of course for us.
Additional benefits: Free choice of laptop, home‑office allowance, additional vacation day, etc.
Our values: Respect and tolerance are part of our DNA. We actively support diversity and inclusion, believing they are the keys to a successful and healthy company culture.
Work Location & Relocation Due to current legal and regulatory reasons, we can only hire team members who live in Germany or Switzerland. If you’re based elsewhere but excited to join OnlineDoctor, we’re happy to discuss and support your relocation to either country.
