Pay Range: $22.50 - $28.10 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call

Your Role

Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents' living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly.

• Perform and oversee general maintenance work on a daily basis, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
• Prepare resident apartments for new occupants through painting, carpet cleaning, and general maintenance, either directly or as part of a team
• Maintain the grounds so the outside of the community is always presentable
• Conduct daily inspections of the building
• Develop and manage the preventative maintenance program to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
• Complete work orders from residents and staff promptly
• Coordinate and supervise outside vendors and contractors
• Maintain life-safety systems and ensure the community meets fire and safety requirements
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 2 years in facilities maintenance, with senior living, hospitality, or multi-family experience preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Pleasant, detail-oriented, and friendly with strong communication skills
