Position Software Engineering Co‑op, Spring 2027 at GE Appliances, Louisville, KY. Rotations run January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027. Housing / Relocation Housing and relocation assistance available for eligible students. Responsibilities Work with a mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and provide learning opportunities. Complete innovative, technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development, or GEA’s own Micro‑Factory, FirstBuild. Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional growth. Take part in networking and community volunteer projects. Participate in optional events such as lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts offered both in and outside of work. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Computer or Software Engineering) with a graduation date of December 2027 or later. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Desired Qualifications Ability to complete two or more co‑op rotations before graduation. Relevant coursework in related technical areas. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Solid analytical skills. Desire and ability to learn; passion for engineering.
